Glenn Cronkhite CBG Bass Trombone or Contrabass Trombone Case

This is a version of the Glenn Cronkhite bass trombone case which includes a double slide sleeve inside.  With this sleeve the case fits the Miraphone BBb contrabass trombone with its wide double-wrapped slide.  Or you can carry most any normal bass trombone with one or two hand slides along for the ride, or with extra parts stored in the additional slide storage area.  You may be able to fit a Bb valve bass trombone.  Anyway, it's a useful case for big trombone users.  Wait...not big users, I mean users of big trombones.  I'll come in again...

From the new production from Minneapolis, MN, USA, this lightweight Cronkhite case is a rectangular soft case with wood reinforcements.  Interior is black velour, exterior is black nylon.  It's not that soft foam inside like those Tuxedo Bags and the cheap ones we see.  This is auto-industry foam, heavy duty Cordura, thick leather reinforcements and steel hardware, #10 zippers.  It features padded plywood stiffeners at the bell end and in the slide sleeve.  Leather handles and 2" double backpack straps make it work for you.  This is your studio quality bag.
