Trombone builder Manfred Schmelzer has unfortunately passed away in January 2026.  These trombones are at the plater's in Germany and hopefully Manfred's son will sort them and send to us at some point.

These are two .509" tenor trombones built by Manfred Schmelzer in Germany.  Both are identical except for the finish - more on that after arrival and fulling pre-orders.  Because we don't really know.

• Hand slide: .509" all nickel, press-fit leadpipe, curved upper brace
• Bell: Lightweight 8" brass
• Tuning slide:  Long bow Williams style, curved bracing
• F-attachment:  Open-wrap, convertible with straight neckpipe
• Case:  Included
• Mouthpiece:  bring your own
