Melodious Etudes for Trumpet composed by Giovanni Marco Bordogni (1789-1856), (transcribed by Joannes Rochut).
Arranged by Sean O'Loughlin and Larry Clark.
This compilation of fifty-four etudes is taken from the best of the Bordogni vocalises. It is carefully selected for the trumpet and presented in pedagogical sequence from easy to more difficult. These etudes are already a staple for the trombone, often known as the "Rochut book".
Marco Bordogni (1788-1866) enjoyed great success as a tenor in Italian opera houses as well as the Theatre Italiane in Paris. He is best known, however, for his activities as a teacher and a composer of vocalises for teaching singers.
