K&M 14940 Tuba Stand

If you've had enough of putting your tuba down on the floor to stand on its bell, this little stand is the ticket. I/Steve find it to be especially useful when doubling in an orchestra pit and I have to make fast horn changes without leaning over or clanking around too much. 

It's also nice to have at home.  I can stand a tuba up anywhere without having to worry about leaning it against the wall or risking it tipping over.

It's very stable and easily folds for travel.  The new rubber pads that support the instrument are more durable than the old felt pads.Fits most tubas from 3/4 to 5/4 size.  Also fits Wagner tubas. Weight = 5.6 pounds.  Made in Germany, this stand should last you forever.  Replacement parts are easily available.
