The Adams TB1 is the newest piece of craftsmanship developed and fully handcrafted by the Adams Brass professionals. The instrument features an open wrap with the Rene Hagmann rotary valve and a brass single bore slide with bass crook. The hand-hammered gold brass bell is made with the same precision as all other Adams Brass instruments, combining true artisanal skills with modern improved techniques. The open feel, deepness, and richness in sound, in combination with a smooth and quick hand slide action, make the TB1 ideal for both symphonic and solo performance.
This TB1-H comes standard with 8.5” (217.5 mm) one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell in 0.60mm, and a single bore yellow brass slide with bass crook and chrome plated nickel silver inner slide. The instrument is equipped with the renowned Hagmann valve, developed by René Hagmann in the early 1990s, and comes standard with a 0.547” (13.9 mm) large bore, c combination that gives an extremely stable tone quality with a subtle warm sound, ideal for both symphonic and solo performance.
