All the way from New Zealand comes this compact plastic practice mute. It gets thumbs up around here. It's light, not too pricey, very soft, still gives you some good feedback of sound, doesn't back up, seems indestructible.
The volume of the Bremner is not quite as soft as a Best Brass or Yamaha, but the feedback and resonance is better on the Bremner. It's softer than the Trumcor, Faxx, and Bach mutes. The pitch and response is especially good in the high range.
