We offer a very sturdy stand for most any contrabass trombone. We assemble it here from heavy duty components by Dixon and assorted industrial makers.
No matter which contrabass trombone you place on this stand, it should not tip over. (Well, not without help. Ask your local drummer.) This stand works well BBb or CC contrabass trombones by Miraphone, also F contrabass models by Haag, Thein, J. Voigt and others.
The extra weight of the slide and body on a contrabass trombone does place more stress on the bell throat when stored on a stand. The ideal height to set this stand should be so the end of your hand slide just barely touches the floor when the trombone is placed fully onto the stand. This will help support the weight of the horn and take the stress off the bell.
