Item Details

Technical studies in all keys, with annotations and suggested positions for those new to the F attachment trombone. This book is useful for bass trombone. An accompanying version entitled "36 Studies for Trombone" is available for non-F attachment players, and focuses on similar exercises in the higher range.

Carl Fischer 04259, edited and arranged by Reginald H. Fink, standard notation. 45 pages.

There is little information about Oskar Blume. There is speculation that this is a pseudonym used by another composer when writing for brass. He may also be Oskaer Biedermann, born in 1859 in Liegnitz. It is presumed that he was a brass teacher and performer. The first edition of his 36 Studies was published in 1899 by Carl Fischer.
