Tom Crown Stop Mute for Horn in Copper

Item Details

This is a copper version of the traditional stop mute for horn.  It's made by Tom Crown in the USA.  The lacquered finish resists tarnish and the mute includes a leather strap.  The small flared cap of the mute is threaded, and covers a very cleanly made bracket which holds the leather cord.  This is a transposing mute, so the player must finger one half tone lower when the mute is inserted.  Weight: 125g, 0.27 lb.
