Adams E3 Custom Euphonium

This is a custom E3 euphonium made in The Netherlands by Adams Music.  It is different from the standard E3 Select model in having a tuning trigger on the main slide.  You can tune any note no matter the fingering.  New models feature carbon fiber sleeves on the tuning slide to strengthen the interface.

The E3 euphonium is the latest model to be added to the Adams euphonium range. The instrument has 4 compensated valves and a 305 mm diameter bell. It has a different lead pipe, bell flare, bracing and bows compared to the E1 euphonium. Ideal for brass band players who are looking for a darker sound and great core stability. 

Adjustable Receiver

You can fine-tune the fit of any mouthpiece to find the sweet spot.  I noticed it as I tested the horn pictured above.  Especially the low G 1-2, you can dial that in to be centered, or if mis-adjusted, it's sort of foggy.

Favorite mouthpiece to try on this Adams E3 is the Robert Tucci 6C.  Others nearly as good:  Wick 4AL, Tucci 7C, Ferguson 2, Faxx 51D. - S Ferguson

Build your own?

If you would like to configure your own E3 euphonium to your personal preferences, Adams will custom build your instrument.  Custom models usually cost 10-20% more depending upon options.

Options include...bells of different weight or gold brass or Sterling silver, polished or brushed finish, gloss or matte lacquer, antique finish, main slide tuning trigger.
