King Legend Tenor Trombone Case

This is the new hard case that is included with King 2B and 3B trombones.  At last: a King case made for the player on the go, not just for the institutional buyer. 

The King Legend case is available separately and there is no better fit for your vintage or modern King trombone than this.  Shell is molded plastic with a faux carbon fiber pattern finish.  Soft dual leather handles are comfortable in the hand. Rubber feet in bottom and end protect and stabilize the case.  The halves seal together with 3 hinges, 3 latches and a soft interlocking seal.  Interior is firm molded foam with soft velour covering. 

The molded interior fits any King 2B, 2BPL, 3B, or 3BPL trombone exactly.  The slide is protected behind a sturdy partition and both the round crook and connector fit exactly into the foam core.  The bell is cradled by its connector and tuning slide bow so the flare can float and will never impact the end of the case.  Two small storage compartments hold mouthpiece, lubricants, etc.  Dual shoulder straps are included.

When King ships a new trombone in this case, there's no extra packing material added inside, nor is there much extra room inside the box.  It's minimalist use of materials, and it shows their faith in the safety of a King trombone inside the case.
