This is a revolutionary care system for your trombone slide, developed by the Slide-O-Mix company in Germany.  It comes in two sizes:  red for smaller bore trombones, and blue for larger bore.  Blue is the most popular size and can usually fit in all but the smallest slide tubes.

The system includes a long cleaning rod, over which fits a terrycloth sheath.  The rod and sheath is used to gently clean and polish the inside of the outer tubes (movable slide) without scratching.  The sheath has extra padding at the end so you're unlikely to damage the slide end bow even if you use it vigorously.  The sheath can be machine washed and reused many times.  We have replacement sheaths available as well.

The rod is threaded at the far end, onto which screws a small flexible brush.  The brush is used for cleaning out the end bow, and also for cleaning out the inside (chrome inside tubes) slide.  Replacement brushes are available if yours is ever worn out or misplaced.

This is the gold standard for a good quality trombone care system, and is a long term investment in quality tools for instrument care.
