This is a lightly used Alexander 103 double horn. Made in West Germany, which means it was manufactured post-WWII and pre-Berlin Wall fall. This was originally sold to a horn player in the St. Petersburg Symphony as a fixed bell 103. The bell flare was cut and screw ring added while in Russia. Later the player visited the US and offered this for sale in the San Diego area. A local player snapped it up and has been using it for many years. However, he just treated himself to a brand new Alexander, so this one is available. Professionally serviced and cleaned by Paul Klintworth. Includes Alexander hard case which been partially restored and looks spectacular.
Includes new Alexander accessory kit: lubricants, pencil holder, leather hand guard, luggage tag, nylon pouch.
