Vintage Olds trumpet, made in Fullerton, California. Super
model, serial 640xxx. All brass with nickel trim, lacquer.
Two-piece nickel and brass valve casings, brass bell with nickel kranz
(garland) with engraving that says, "Super Olds made by F.E. Olds
& Son. Fullerton, California". No dents, some evidence
of repair to bell stem, some lacquer loss, lacquer is still about
80-90%. Adjustable third slide ring, no first slide saddle,
lightweight bracing. Includes very unusual case, a vintage
plastic businessman's briefcase that says Olds near the handle, in
brown with chrome trim. No one at the board meeting will know you
have a trumpet in the case. Think of the extra respect you'll
demand.

Rare herald piccolo trumpet with tuneable bell, includes A crook,
lacquered, with case. Lacquer is worn, but mostly intact, has a
beautiful vintage look. Don't worry about the "herald"
part of this, just take it to any piccolo gig and play out. Would make
an excellent studio horn. Might be a candidate for a relacquer,
but we like the look as is. Serial 43720. Includes original
case. Pistons and slides move freely ands are in excellent
condition.

Early 1900's Besson flugel, silver plate, externally restored to mint
conditionby Robb Stewart, and plated by Kanstul. Includes
Kanstul third slide trigger, and Protec trumpet/flugel case.
Approx. .423" bore. As is, this is a collector's instrument,
ad is beautiful. However, the pistons are worn. To become a
player's horn, it needs a piston re-plating and honing at Anderson,
probably at a cost of $500-600.

Bach C trumpet with several modifications that make it an excellent
playing horn. 25H Herseth pipe, reverse tuning slide, tuneable
bell, medium large bore, serial 35164. First slide trigger has
been removed, body is silver plate, with raw brass bell (silver was
stripped minus the engraving) and leadpipe,
there is some wear in the plating. We're thinking of having a new
first slide saddle added, and also might have the body silver plated,
leaving a raw brass bell for that jobbing-horn look. We can
customize it as you like, or with a bit of polish, it's ready to go
now.
