Extra large bell throat (similar to New World flare) with Meriweather system and XL bore. Low F extension is double tunable and is activated by the pinkie valve. Some minor dings but overall in excellent condition. Think of this as a triple Conn 8D! Many LA studio guys used to use similar large bore descant horns for recording because it gave security in the upper register but still had the breadth of sound of a large bore instrument. Atkinson	501	Erfurt model from Atkinson horns. This one is based on the Kruspe horner model. Similar to Conn 8D. Nickel silver body, ambronze tail and flare. Extra large throat bell flare.	NEW	TBA
Atkinson	502	Designed with the help of Vince DeRosa. This horn has a kruspe style valve wrap and features a medium taper "euro" bell. With 24k gold plated engraved valve tops and a screw bell in Ambronze material. Nickel silver guts with yellow brass crooks. A great player! Dylan picked this one off the production line for us. SOLD Conn	8D	Used professional F/Bb double horn. This is a newer 1990's era Conn 8D. It is made from nickel silver and features a kruspe style thumb valve wrap. This horn has a fixed bell. Overall condition is well used. The previous owner played this instrument a lot. It would be a good horn for an advanced high school or college player. Includes the original Conn hard case. Hans Hoyer	DK122	Bb/F double horn with medium throat bell, Geyer style, with Herbert Knopf valve wrap, fixed bell, all brass, very open design, lacquered, includes case. This horn is fabulous.  It has a great  even tone in all registers.  It is very agile and quick to respond.  The difference between the F and Bb side are minimized with the change valve being in line with the rest of the valves.  The sound is mellow and rich but can definitely sizzle if you want it to.  I wouldn't characterize this as a bright sounding horn though.  A definite winner. Hans Hoyer	Double Wagner Tuba model 4826	An amazing instrument from Hans Hoyer in Germany. The model 4826 double Wagner tuba in F/Bb has a .511"/.551" bore and a 9.85" bell flare. This instrument is made of lacquered yellow brass and has a hand bent gold brass leadpipe. A spring loaded tuning trigger gives peace of mind for those odd notes; However, this tuba plays almost perfectly in tune! Includes a deluxe Hans Hoyer hard case. Atkinson	AG-2000 Custom Geyer	New handmade instrument from Mark Atkinson. Totally handcrafted from the finest nickel silver, original Marsten (Carl Geyer) valve cluster, and hand-bent hardware. Features ornate braces, adjustable finger hook and hand flipper, F branch is made from one piece for smooth response. This particular instrument features a European size bell flare (similar to Berg, Hill or Rausch). This is a modern recreation of the venerable Carl Geyer horns of Chicago. The sound is beautiful and clear, intonation is spot on; a wonderful instrument to play and listen to. The nickel silver gives this Geyer model clear overtones and a punchy classic French horn quality (dark in the soft passages and brilliant in loud passages).	New	SPECIAL $7150
C.F. Schmidt	Full Double	Rare collectible professional French horn. Made by the famous German horn maker, C.F. Schmidt in the 1920's in Berlin Germany. This is a unique instrument. All parts look to be original. Overall the instrument is in very good condition. There has been some dents removed over the years and there are signs of this. Also, some patches on the instrument, the biggest one being on both sides of the bell flare. The metal on this horn is very thin and responsive. The instrument is made of yellow brass. The thumb valve is a piston valve, very cool and works well. Slurring between the Bb and F sides on this horn is a breeze with this piston valve. These old Schmidt horns are prized by many professional players. Includes old skool hard case.	Used	$3900
SOLD Atkinson	Double Horn N-508	This is a new Atkinson N-508 double horn in nickel silver.  Handmade and assembled in Burbank California.  This instrument is truley amazing.  Dylan went to the factory and hand picked this horn out of four of the same model horns that were there.  The scale is excellent and it has a good sound.  The bell is a medium European style. This horn is a great way to fit into the modern orchestral world of Geyer wraps without having to lose the feel of a Kruspe wrap.   It has been a great seller in San Francisco for this reason.  The real special thing about this horn and why Dylan picked it is the high register.  It almost feels as if you are playing on a descant horn.  Hayden 31 is no problem on this baby.  This horn is for any first horn player who wants the security of a triple but doesn't want to shell out the dough.  Get it now before it's gone! Alexander	Bb/F double Model 110	What can we say, this is about the coolest thing any of us have seen. The Alexander double Wagner tuba features independent slides, 4 precision rotary valves and excellent intonation. This model can be switched to stand in Bb or F. It is constructed from high quality German yellow brass and is fabricated in the old world traditions of the Gebr. Alexander factory. On the B-natural horn you can play E-horn passages as if they were in E-flat (e.g. Weber Concertino, Danzi Concerto, Fidelio, Thieving Magpie Overture, Cosi fan tutte). Built in Schmid's new Mindelzell workshop. NEW Engelbert Schmid	ES4	Custom made German F/B/F triple horn, with several options including: hand hammered removable bell flare, water keys, and clear lacquer. As played by the folks in the New York Philharmonic.  All brass construction with nickel trim. Also includes adjustable finger hook and "flipper" to ease holding of the instrument. These are simply the best triple horns in the work. Sold without case. NEW Hans Hoyer	6802	Professional double horn in yellow brass, lacquered. This horn has a fixed yellow brass bell, mechanical linkages and nickel silver precision rotary valves. The valve action is smooth and fast, the blow is responsive and accurate. These are great instruments, some of the finest in the world.   Difference between a 6801 and 6802 is the linkage.
